Smoked Burger: The Hamburger That Changes the Rules
The heart of a great burger is a compact patty that must absorb smoke without losing its juices. Smoking isn’t just an aroma — it’s a technical ingredient: managing wood and temperature to give the patty character without overpowering its flavor. The burger must be assembled with care, insulating the bun to prevent it from becoming soggy and choosing sauces that enhance the smoky notes. Every pairing must balance the intensity of the wood.
In a burger crafted by true experts, it’s the smoke that decides whether you’ve done a great job or just made a simple sandwich. Either way, in the end, you’ll have to eat it!
