For 2026, the event featured over 60 events, including Academy sessions, masterclasses, show cooking and meetings with the most authoritative Italian and international pitmasters. The BBQ Expo Academy hosted 30 specialist courses with 90% of courses sold out, confirming strong interest in technical content and quality training.

EUROPE’S BIGGEST KCBS COMPETITION.
The BBQ Expo Master Challenge, sanctioned by the KCBS (Kansas City Barbeque Society): an event that stands as one of the fair’s most important international draws, helping to make BBQ Expo Europe’s benchmark for barbecue.
50 teams from over 10 countries compete against each other, involving more than 200 pitmasters. The audience can watch live as competitors prepare the four official KCBS categories, observing technique, precision and passion at the highest level.
